As the supervisor, you will oversee a team of skilled mechanical technicians and agency contractors, ensuring the delivery of top-notch statutory, planned, and reactive maintenance services.

Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Efficiently supervise and monitor the workload of the mechanical services section, ensuring effective execution of work according to established schedules and organization standards.
- Take charge of planning and programming work, including maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage section Estates workshops, property, vehicles, tools, and equipment in line with company policies and guidelines.
- Oversee planned preventive maintenance, routine and bespoke mechanical services activities, including new installations, reactive responses to emergencies, arranging remedial works, and procuring materials.
- Take initial corrective action to ensure continuous service and business continuity, promptly reporting findings and resolutions to your line manager or designated supervisor as per the escalation procedure.
- Act as an authorized person and provide immediate response in case of system failures, supporting the senior authorized person.
Essential Qualifications for Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor:
- Completion of a recognized mechanical apprenticeship/training program, qualified to at least City and Guilds level, preferably with HNC/NVQ3 or equivalent qualifications.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record in the building services sector, with expertise in mechanical installation and maintenance works.
- Strong technical competency in building maintenance, specializing in mechanical systems, with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and diverse and complex building services systems.
Working Hours:
Enjoy a work-life balance with Monday to Friday permanent day shifts, totalling 36.5 hours per week.
