    SEMI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER £25,000 | Mon- Fri

    WE ARE P W HALL LIMITED, PART OF THE COLLOIDS GROUP

    PW Hall is a leading manufacturer of colour and additive concentrates for the plastics and allied industries. We are currently seeking a semi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a mechanical bias, to join our maintenance team based at PW Hall in Kirkintilloch, Glasgow. This role will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and will interact with most departments across the business. This is a great opportunity for a candidate that is looking to develop into a multi skilled engineer. The company will provide on the job training. Work will be a mixture of reactive and planned tasks prioritised by the Maintenance Manager.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Respond to fault reports raised with regards plant and machinery
    2. Undertake planned tasks in accordance with our preventative maintenance system
    3. Undertake tasks related to maintenance projects
    4. Always be aware of production priorities and act under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and liaise with Production Management to ensure they are kept up to date with the status of repairs on faulty plant and machinery
    5. At all times to ensure compliance with the company's quality, environmental and health & safety management systems

    EXPERIENCE

    Higher education qualification in a mechanical discipline. Apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage. Experience in plastics production ideal. Ability to work within a team and self-manage during shift hours. Good communicator across all departments. Excellent problem-solving skills and highly customer focused.
