    Adecco Worcester have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality and Safety Engineer for a dynamic engineering company based in Pershore.

    We are seeking a proactive and highly qualified individual to take on full responsibility for the company's quality and safety performance and to drive continuous improvement in quality and safety procedures


    Key Points:
    Proven Quality (and Health and Safety) specialist with aspirations for a future Function Management role.
    Influence improvements for a growing company across various sectors.
    Thorough understanding of BS EN 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards.
    Opportunity to lead the quality and safety department, integrating into the senior team

    Responsibilities:
    Lead company through audits and recertification of BS EN 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
    Oversee development and attainment of BS ISO Environmental management system (EMS).
    Manage designated quality projects, ensuring standards and targets are met.
    Conduct regular line and system audits, utilizing quality tools like SPC, 8D, PPAP, Lean, Six-Sigma.
    Attend risk assessment meetings, prepare PPAP packs, and inspect manufactured parts.
    Lead improvement teams, facilitate RCA of customer complaints, and contribute to continuous improvement.
    Work with subcontracting Health and Safety Officer for ongoing improvements.
    Responsible for decision-making online hold-ups due to quality problems.
    Lead training initiatives for quality and safety awareness

    Requirements:
    Experience in high-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.
    Degree qualification preferred; HND with experience accepted.
    Additional HSE-related qualification desirable.
    PC literate, comfortable with Microsoft packages, Sage 50, and Lotus.
    Full UK Driving licence and own transport.
    Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    Automotive Quality sector experience beneficial but not essential.
    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence all levels of staff.
