Our client is a renowned flooring company in the industry, specialising in industrial and commercial finishes.They offer a wide range of related services and have established themselves as one of the leaders in the field.
As an Estimator for our client, you will be responsible for efficiently quoting projects to win further work and contribute to their growth ambitions.
The successful candidate would have at least 1 year experience in an estimating position, have some knowledge of general flooring (hard or soft) and uphold a strong client facing attitude.
Visit project sites to evaluate flooring requirements, measure spaces, and assess any special considerations or challenges.Calculate project costs, including materials, labour, and any additional expenses, while considering factors such as project scope, design specifications, and local regulations.
Maintain organised records of project details, estimates, and communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.Assist in managing project budgets and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay up to date with industry trends, products, and installation methods to provide informed recommendations to clients and colleagues.
Proven experience as an Estimator in the flooring or construction industryProficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
A valid driver's license and own vehicle.
