    Local Housing Advisor

    North Norwich Local Delivery Team

    Hybrid Homeworking with office base in Norwich

    Full time, 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

    Starting Salary at £24,420 per annum, with future progression opportunities to £25,980 per annum

    About the Role

    We are looking for a Local Housing Advisor to join our North Norwich Local Delivery Team, you will be passionate about helping people and want to deliver an excellent service to our customers. The role will require you to:

    • Be responsible for providing administration for the allocation and letting of empty homes, such as advertising properties, requesting nominations, making offers of accommodation and drafting legal documentation relating to tenancies.
    • Be responsible for the administration of mutual exchanges, including maintaining electronic data bases and systems.
    • To provide administrative support to the Local Delivery Directorate to fulfil its commitments in respect of anti-social behaviour.
    • To support the Income Recovery Officers and Neighbourhood Officers to ensure that the associations income in maximised.

    About You

    We are looking for candidates who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and are interested in a career in Housing. You will have a desire to help people, be able to self-motivate whilst working alone and be able to problem solve.

    You will have at least one years' experience in a similar role, with excellent administration skills and passes in English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent. You will also have clear and effective communication skills and the ability to deal with difficult conversations.
