ABOUT THIS ROLE

  • The Box Office Assistant (Casual) is vital to the success of our business. The postholder plays a pivotal role in defining excellence to ensure our dynamic and adaptable approach is delivered to achieve success.
  • The postholder is responsible for:
  • Assisting with the smooth and efficient running of the Box Office, to help maximise sales for the venue.
  • Effective contribution including dealing with customer enquiries and taking bookings for shows and events.
  • In liaison with the Box Office Manager, responsibility for the effective use and maintenance of the ticketing database and routine housekeeping of the ticketing system.
  • To provide accurate sales reports and figures to promoters and to be able to set up scheduled reports, as required.
  • To manage ticket requests from company, charities, promotions and the membership scheme.
  • To effectively prepare and distribute Preoday Interval Orders in a time bound manner and replenish the stock used.
  • To work both independently and with others in selling and delivering interval Ice Creams and Merchandise.
  • To have an understanding of the Data Protection Act and ensure that all staff are adhering to this policy.
  • Undertaking training and development relevant to the successful execution of the job role.
  • At all times, act as an ambassador for the venue and Trafalgar Theatres.
