    Job Description:

    As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) working on an adhoc basis at our facility in Uxbridge, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate and high-quality nursing care to our patients.

    You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with their individual care plans and medical instructions.
    Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs monitoring, and medical history reviews.

    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and ensure their safe and effective delivery.

    Monitor and record patient progress, symptoms, and vital signs, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

    Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.

    Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques to promote optimal wellness and recovery.

    Adhere to infection control protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

    Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance your nursing knowledge, skills, and competencies.


    Requirements:

    • Valid registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
    Previous experience working as an RGN in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.

    Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

    Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

    Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.

    Commitment to providing patient-centered care with compassion, empathy, and respect.

    Flexibility to work on an adhoc basis, including weekends and evenings as needed.
