This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Support Assistant or Administrator who also has accounts experience, to join a unique business within the hospitality sector, that provides accommodation for high net worth individuals, as wellas VIP's.

Accounts Assistant - What will I be doing?


This role will appeal to someone who enjoys variety and who has the flexibility to adapt to suit the needs of the business.

With your meticulous attention to detail, a good head for figures and, ideally, some experience within a Finance department, you willsupport the team by using your basic accountancy skills to chase payments from suppliers, input purchase orders and invoices and provide general data entry support.

The variety within the role comes with your ability to diversify and utilise your excellentadministration skills so you can also support the remainder of the business as and when required.


Accounts Assistant - What experience do I need?

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Confident in dealing with figures
  • Experience of dealing with Purchase orders and calculating VAT
  • Basic experience of working with Sage
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Methodical, accurate with strong attention to detail
  • A quick learner who also adapts to change quickly
  • Good MSO skills, especially Excel
  • Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions well
  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise workloads

Accounts Assistant - What else do I need to know?

As an Accounts Assistant you will form part of a creative and supportive team and, although you will bring some expertise, you'll also be given plenty of training.

You'll need to be flexible so that you can manage change and demanding deadlines and it's fairto say you'll also need to be resourceful so that you can manage your time effectively by supporting various areas of the business and, with as much enthusiasm, complete tasks that can be repetitive at times.

You might be a junior Finance Assistant, an experiencedAdministrator or currently a Business Support Assistant looking to further your skills and keen to combine these within several disciplines.

Ultimately, you will be excited by the prospect of seeing this position grow in whichever way is necessary to supportthe business, which may or may not be finance lead but will without doubt be administration focused and varied.

The role is office-based, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.
