TUTOR/ASSESSOR - ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Due to increased demand and significant planned growth over the next 2 years we are now looking to add to our team of skilled tutors in our Engineering centre and are seeking inspiring and enthusiastic individuals with relevant vocational experience and qualifications in the areas of mechanical engineering, engineering fitting and/or electrical.

Rated as Good by Ofsted for the delivery of government funded training programmes, Hull Training and Adult Education, part of Hull City Council, is one of the largest providers of vocational training and further education in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering quality courses to industry.

Teacher training and/or assessing qualifications would be advantageous as would previous experience of apprenticeship standards delivery but above all we are looking for individuals who can make a significant contribution to the development and skills of the next generation of engineers.

We have an excellent record of teacher training delivery and therefore encourage anyone who feels they have skills and the ability to pass on their knowledge to learners to apply.

Recognising the workforce demand within the Engineering sector currently this post, is enhanced with a market rate pay supplement in excess of the top of the substantive grade for the job.

Dependent on your current skills and experience will determine the grade that you are appointed too, if successful and will be discussed further with you should you be invited for an interview.

Should you require more information around the payment of a market rate pay supplement and further details of the role please contact Rachel David on for an informal discussion.
