- Managing the library of core product manuals to ensure they are maintained to the latest specification and are aligned with the company quality manual.
- Planning work based on the company task schedule.
- Collating information from other departments to create a complete documentation package for each project.
- Managing and collating the production of product documentation for upload to the on-line document Portal, ensuring it is accurate and on time.
- Collaborating with the Technical Author in the creation of the instruction manual for core products.
- Managing and administering customer and distributor access to the on-line Portal.
- Where required printing hard copies of the product documentation and ensure they are supplied to the customer.
- Promoting and developing good customer relationships.
- Managing stationery stock levels of the specific materials required to produce hard copies of documentation.
- Editing existing documents to reflect upgrades or modifications to equipment.
- Providing administration support to the Design department.
- Ability to use or be willing to learn MS Word and MS Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to receive and communicate information.
- Focused and responsive to customer requests.
- Be organised with good attention to detail and ensure documents are correct and delivered on time.
- Be willing to learn how to access information from other software packages, such as Solidworks, FrameMaker, TurboCad.
