- To Roll out NHSS and identifying gaps and improvement gaps concerning clinical Services, Cancer and Blood transfusion Services in Work Force, Health facility and Equipments.
- To ensure that NHSS activities of clinical services, cancer Programs and national blood transfusion services using Check list for different branches and Clinical Toolkits are maintained
- In collaboration with NHIS in Analysis of health information indicators Reporting on Clinical Governance and Clinical Audits involving the health system at all levels of health care to the NDoH for monitoring the performance of the clinical health system in the country.
- Provide relevant technical assistance and advice to the national, provincial and local bureaucrats on resource allocations, on policies standards and guidelines. Communicate on Medical-Legal issues on Duty of Care.
- Frequency: 3 PHAs and NRRT hospital per year, 40 hrs per Institution.

To oversee administration of all Activities of National Blood Transfusion Services in PHA and National Referral, Research and Teaching Hospitals to achieve the aims and the objectives in the National Health Plan and National Service Standards.
To provide information on Administrative, Management and Clinical issues to the Deputy Secretary National Standards and Compliances, NDoH.To ensure that Clinical Governance and Clinical audits are managed by the Clinical Chiefs, Cancer and National Blood transfusion
To Oversee that PHA and National Referral, Research and Teaching Hospital are functioning within the requirements of the National Health Service Standards for Clinical Services, Cancer Programs and National Blood Transfusion Services.
56hrs per year for 3-5PHA (22 PHA and NRRT Hospital)
Provide a strategic Oversight to coordination, collaboration and communication to Quality Patient Optimum Care in Clinical Services, Cancer Programs and National Blood Transfusion Services.
In collaboration with Work force assessments for PHA and NRRT hospital in relation to the needs and excess. The issues of production and absorption of workforce in 22 PHA and NRRT hospital.
In collaboration with Quality standards and Accreditations branch in all health facilities in the PHA and specialist services in PHA and NRRT hospital.
In collaboration with Pharmaceutical Service Standards Branch in relation to Medical and Dental Catalogue.Oversight of issues concerning medical drug supplies in PHA and NRRT hospital.
Participation in NDoH meetings, Project Implementation Committee meetings, Finance Committee meetings, quarterly review meetings.
To provide clinical support and Blood transfusion support for Emergency Response.
CAPACITY BUILDING ON TECHNICAL AND CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT
Provide guidance in Human Capacity and Specialist Expertise for PHA and NRRT hospital.
To oversight the Specialist training of Specialist Doctors for all Disciplines in NRRT Hospital (PMGH) and PHA and in collaboration with the Medical and Health training institutions for all cadres of health care workers.
To oversight and when needed be mentoring and teaching in Clinical Disciplines, Cancer and Blood transfusion and Tissue Donor Services.
To collaborate with Medical Research Committee for assessing research proposals and monitoring of Clinical, Cancer and Blood transfusion and tissue Donor Research.
To contribute in resolutions to Professional body, the PNG Medical Society annually3 Clinical Governance and Practice

5 Supervisory visits and Outreach
8 Monitoring and Evaluation of Clinical Services.
