    Description

    ESS Solutions Specialist required for a global leader in renewable energy technologies, revolutionizing the industry through innovation and pioneering initiatives.

    Our Client offers a comprehensive total solution for clean energy, which spans generation, storage, and software.

    They are a leading company in the development of advanced energy storage systems, as well as software solutions that are capable of managing energy assets on a global scale.

    Analyse RFP documentation and asses project scope and risk.
    Liaise with internal teams to prepare accurate costing and financial analysis for tender submission.

    Ensure all opportunities, client and account details updated on CRM platformUnderstand and keep up with storage market requirements and trends.

    Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to negotiate and finalise contracts.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering5+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably incl.

    experience working for a DNO or TSOWorking knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems, PPC/EMS/SCADA and grid connection processes for jurisdictions under your management (UK or relevant regions in Europe)Familiarity with grid operator processesSolid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for BESS systemsExperience in designing, engineering, and optimizing utility-scale energy storage systemsAbility to size the Power Converter System (PCS) and battery systemFamiliarity with design concepts related to short circuit protection, conductor sizing, thermal systems, safety systems, etc.

    Working efficiently in a multi-cultural, transitional multi-stakeholder environmentFluency in business and technical EnglishAny additional European languages (esp.
