Description
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and talented Software Test Analyst.You collaborate closely with Developers and Product Owners in an Agile team during every part of the project lifecycle to understand systems and software requirements and plan your test cases.
You will take responsibility for the quality of the features and software you work on and be vigorous in your testing.
You will be a key member of the development team and take part in regular team stand-ups, planning sessions and sprint reviews.
Hours of work:
Flexitime available, core hours of 10am – 3pm Monday – Friday must be worked, and you must work 37.5 hours per week.
(An element of flexibility will be required on release days).Key Skills and Experience:
Exposure in test automation for Web applications UIsExposure to testing APIsExperience of Test Automation tools and languages such as Katalon Studio, Cypress, C#, .NET, Selenium, Visual Studio, SpecflowExperience working in an Agile environmentExperience using workflow management software such as TFS, JIRA, Azure DevOpsExperience testing Desktop applicationsStrong manual testing experience in Web and Mobile applicationsExperience in all aspects of functional testingSolid understanding of the full Software Development LifecycleAbility to manage your own workload and deadlinesAbility to look beyond the UI for Bugs and potential issuesStrong verbal and communication skillsThe ideal candidate will have (by no means essential):Experience querying SQL databasesExperience in manual integration testingExperience in creating and managing your own test plans and strategiesIn return, we will provide:Hybrid working with offices available in York if you want to come in.
