Role Summary
As the Innovation Team Leader (Characterisation and Consignments), you'll be pivotal in our Hydrogen 3 Advanced Technologies Division (H3AT).
Your role revolves around spearheading tritium life cycle solutions for sustainable fusion energy. This involves maximizing scientific and economic gains through proficient tritium, waste, and fusion fuel cycle expertise.
We seek a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, adept at research, development, and project management in tritium, waste, and fusion fuel cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead various projects, processes, and activities.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team overseeing Waste Management and Beryllium contaminated wastes.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring best practices and optimal disposal routes.
- Line management responsibilities, including staff development, objective setting, and technical leadership within the Team.
- Required involvement in radiological and berylliumcontrolled areas (potential RWA or progress toward it).
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Proven track record as a technical lead on projects.
- Experience in line management and coaching of technical professionals.
- Proficiency in forming and leading technical teams.
Desirable:
- Chartered status from a professional body (or equivalent certification).
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant technology or research field.
Additional Information
