THE OPPORTUNITY:


This position is focused on relationship management, selling the value of Open Text Maintenance and Support Programs, and driving retention as well as growth.

Primary responsibilities of the role include quoting, establishing a regular outreach cadence, positioning upsells, regular follow-up, and closing renewals.

Maintaining regular contact regardless of whether there is a specific client needs requiring attention and showing a deep understanding of underlying future needs or issues, as well as providing support, actions, and solutions.

Drawing conclusions based on maintaining the long-term relationship and thinking through the impact. You will also propose appropriate solutions for successful results.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Consult with internal stakeholders to prepare renewal quotes, overcoming objections through the process of negotiation, and adjusting quotes as required to ensure the competitiveness of the solution being presented to the customer
  • Be a trusted advisor for the Customer for their support needs, cultivating an environment of mutual value recognized between OpenText and our customers.
  • Utilize departmental standard operating procedures to effectively manage the renewal process.
  • Take ownership of the contracts assigned to you; a strong sense of urgency and ownership is required to manage your portfolio resulting in full value, ontime renewals.
  • Understand the road map for products.
  • Identification of atrisk contracts and early engagement with internal stakeholders to mitigate

YOU ARE GREAT AT:


  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, strong listening skills, and experience in contract and pricing negotiation
  • Solid sales skills with a customer focus
  • Detailoriented, selfstarter with excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
  • Experience in an outbound phone sales/support role
  • Skilled with calculations
  • Willingness to take on ad hoc responsibilities
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office
