Petroplan are looking to hire a Principal Offshore Structural Engineer to work on a permanent staff basis in Surrey.Coming with a negotiable base salary plus full staff benefits, car parking/shuttle bus, and hybrid workng.
As a Principal Technical Professional - Offshore Structural, you will support the lead engineer related preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assignedThe work will involve liaising with client and 3rd party contractors and coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver the tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
REQUIREMENTSDegree in Structural Engineering DesignExperienced in Conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering of offshore platforms and FPSOExcellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver on quality and schedule.
Proficient user of SESAM GENIE and SESAM suite of software a prerequisite.Proficiency to perform non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS is desirable.
In-depth knowledge of latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902 and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes is a must.
