Do you have a passion for Events Management and providing an excellent service to your clients? Kingston Recruitment are currently looking to source an Events and Marketing Assistant to join our client ASAP.


DUTIES

  • Responding to venue enquiries for new and existing customers in a timely manner with suitable venue options and availability, following up all enquiries to the point of sale.
  • Entering new event enquiries and sales on the systems provided using the level of detail required to help inform client followup activity, operational delivery and University financial processes.
  • Assisting with hospitality and accommodation enquiries and bookings, directing internal and commercial users to the online platforms accordingly, troubleshooting where necessary.
  • Meet with prospective and regular clients to conduct wedding, conference and event show rounds to discuss event logistics prior to booking activity.
  • Be the first point of contact for Commercial Services Customers, providing a proactive, professional and flexible support service to staff, students and colleagues measured against defined service level agreements and key performance indicators
  • Champion customer service and engagement and positively communicate with customers and colleagues through multiple channels, providing timely updates and information regarding events taking place.
  • Maintain customer databases ensuring accurate administration completed.
  • Liaise with external suppliers for the provision of specific or bespoke items for events.
  • Ensure accurate recharges made to the client for services provided.

Hours/Days: 08:00 - 16:30 Monday to Friday (Very occasional Saturday work)
