  • We are exclusively recruiting on behalf of the NFU Mutual Ilminster based office. NFU Mutual are a renowned, prestigious insurance company who have been looking after customers for over a century. They are looking for a highly organised Service Advisorto join their dynamic team in Ilminster. This is an exciting opportunity to join a first-class, highly regarded insurance provider who have been awarded the Best Insurance Brand of the Year.
The successful applicant will ideally have previously worked in an insurance or financial services role. They will be proactive and positive, providing exceptional customer service and brilliantly executing general tasks. The role will include the handlingof enquiries, providing quotations, and undertaking insurance transactions. An excellent telephone manner is essential in this role.


Key responsibilities and attributes of the Customer Service Administrator will include:

  • Review and advise upon general customer requirements
  • Process all customer instructions in alignment with policies
  • Identify and initiate crossselling opportunities
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of NFU Mutual General Insurance products
  • Obtain appointments for the Financial Advisor

Essential skills and experiences needed to succeed in this role:

  • IT literate, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and initiative
  • Flexible and open attitude
  • Highly organised and able to work to deadlines

The hours for this role are 9-5 Monday to Friday.
