Finance Business Partner - Ipsum Water & Infrastructure Division

Hillington, Glasgow, with occasional travel to the Livingston site. The client will offer hybrid working after the probation period.

Lusona has been retained by Ipsum to source suitable applicants for the post of Finance Business Partner to support their Water and Infrastructure division.

Ipsum is the UK's customer service leader in specialist utility and infrastructure services. They provide great customer service and are committed to delivering this safely and innovatively through their highly skilled teams.

The main duties will include:

Preparing accurate financial and commercial information
Ensuring close control of working capital including debtor and WIP management
Ensuring controls are well maintained and adhered to
Presenting relevant MI
Weekly performance reviews with operations
Assisting General Managers with ensuring fleet utilisation is optimised
Controlling working capital and cashflow management
Challenging the business on billing and improving processes
Maintaining key tax control accounts
Ad hoc projects for the Water division e.g. system integration
Reviewing and overseeing the payroll process
Ensuring best practice controls are adhered to and enhanced
Working with external auditors regarding annual audits
Maintaining accurate and uptodate records for tax compliance
Developing and training junior members of the team
Demonstrable experience in a varied and fastpaced environment
A track record of leading project and investment appraisals
Knowledge of the utility industry would be beneficial, however, this is not essential
Knowledge of Business Central and PowerBi would be beneficial
Strong analytical skills

Team player with the ability to build good relationships and confidence at all levels
