Permanent (Full-Time)


Shift patterns:
Any 5 from 7, 8 hour shifts (flexibility on start and finish times)


Location:
Manton Wood, Worksop


DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver Trainer to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements.


WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

  • Working closely with internal colleagues to ensure we train our drivers to be the safest, efficient and customer focussed in line with DHL policies and procedures
  • To train, assess and complete driver reassessments in line DHL's policies and procedures, including SMITHS System
  • Support the driver assessment/recruitment process as required
  • Carry out targeted assessments with drivers to encourage driver improvements
  • Occasional driver shifts as required

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience of working within a transport operation in a similar role would be preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility around start and finish times (8 hour shifts)
  • Ability to facilitate and conduct daily training as required
  • Excellent time management
