- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and site EAWR regulations.
- Develop project scopes and manage Front End Loading processes.
- Field manage the safe delivery of designated capital projects, including managing contractors and producing risk assessments.
- Develop project delivery schedules and cost forecasts.
- Maintain PLC & SCADA software, version control, and backup strategies.
- Manage site fiber communication network.
- Develop and manage site electrical and controls obsolescence strategy.
- Serve as the single point lead for third-party contractors.
- Act as a site controls specialist
- Partake in the site electrical on-call rota.
- Recognised Electrical/Controls Apprenticeship with HNC.
- Practical project experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Competent in obligations under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
- Understanding of Ladder Logic and fault finding on electrical control systems.
- Experience with electrical schematics and basic design.
- NEBOSH GC Level 3 certification would be beneficial.
- Ability to initiate and drive safety improvements.
- Experience with CMMS, preferably Avantis.
