We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior marketing professional to be responsible for demand-generation marketing, targeting academic researchers and life science companies worldwide to source and promote the portfolio of research tool products, providing strategic direction for revenue-focused multi-channel initiatives.

To manage the brand, website and team to advance the digital commerce global presence of the only cancer research tools-focused non-profit.


This role joins the Global Head, Head of Licensing, Head of External Innovation, and Head of Operations to comprise the Senior Leadership Team of the business.

With a history of more than 40 years of managing and providing reagents to both academic and for-profit laboratories around the world, has been steadfast in its mission of accelerating cancer research by making research tools widely and easily available around the world.


What will I be doing?

  • Collaborate with Global Head and Senior Leadership Team on branding strategy, business model and growth goals.
  • Drive the 's B2C business model to meet revenue targets via the digital marketing platform and multichannel datadriven demandgeneration programmes.
  • Accountable for performance of digital marketing and product management staff under line management
  • Direct market research and value propositions to develop revenuegeneration product priorities and opportunities for customer conversion in academic and corporate markets.
  • Matrixmanage a crossfunctional product accession and management programme with the External Innovation Team, Out-Licensing Team and Operations Team
  • Responsible for execution & management of marketing campaigns and ROI analysis and reporting
  • Oversee communications with target audiences, through multichannel advertising, events, mailings, & social media
  • Oversee website design content, customer journey and all marketing activities, including digital automation strategies, SEO, PPC, advertising, analysis, and reporting. Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment of website design and implementation with CancerTools systems.
  • Responsible for marketing collateral, content, and marketing campaign gap analysis.
  • Oversee the management of global marketing events and ROI analysis and reporting.
  • Adhere to best practices, local and international regulations, i.e., GDPR.
  • Oversee liaisons with stakeholders which include comarketing partners, suppliers/vendors, and internal departments of the Charity.
  • Oversee creating SOP and improving business processes to be more efficient.
  • Accountable for line managing, leading, and developing an inclusive and high functioning team. Responsible for creating a positive culture which recognises success, develops, and drives high performance and rewards results to retain talent within the team.

What skills are you looking for?

Essential:


  • Educated to degree level in a life science discipline.
  • Demandgeneration digital marketing background in a life science reagents or similar organisation role.
  • Experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, analysis and marcomm, website management, product/brand management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills in staff management with the ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities to deadlines.
  • Sets objectives and provides clarity around priorities, desired outcomes and the behaviours required to deliver those outcomes.
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills with experience of networking and attendance at scientific conferences.
  • Engenders trust by positively giving, seeking, and accepting feedback.
  • Ensures equality and diversity is celebrated and considered as part of all decisions taken.
  • Proficient in the use of web and customer journey analytics, business CRM databases, MS Excel, PowerPoint.
