Hours: Full time, 37.5/week

Pay: £25,000 pa

Start date: ASAP

Overview

We connect school students with scientists*. We are looking for someone to join our team to support our Education and Scientist Leads.

You'll work as a core part of our team running our systems and processes that look after the teachers and scientists signed up to our award-winning projects. You'll be at the centre of the day to day operations looking after our teachers and scientists.

*It's not just scientists. There are engineers, computer scientists, geographers, historians, mathematicians, medics, designers and possibly another astronaut.

1. Work as part of the team delivering the I'm a... programme of engagement projects.
2. You will report to the Head of Education and Head of Scientists.
3. Communicate with teachers and scientists via email, social media and telephone
4. Day to day technical and logistical support
5. Weekly schedule of promotional emails to teachers and scientists
6. Implement our onboarding procedures to ensure increased levels of participation by scientists and teachers
7. Support the team to deliver our excellent, effective and efficient projects including the occasional moderation of chats

You should...

• Be web literate, and confident working online. We work online a lot.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills
• Process driven with good attention to detail
• Flexible and focused
