You'll play an essential role in ensuring we meet our defined standards we deliver for our customers, communities, and the environment.

Using your expertise, you'll ensure that all planned network interventions, which take place on our Water network are planned, risk assessed and delivered to SLA.


The significance of the work you'll do as a Network Controller makes this such an exciting project to be a part of, and will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively across a wide range of multidiscipline teams as well as working individually to deliver first class customer service.

As Network Intervention Controller you'll also have knowledge of Hydraulics, Network Operations, a firm understanding of maths and engineering.

Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

  • Ensure all planned network interventions are recorded, while supporting the Network Intervention Lead. You'll also take ownership of a County and provide a clear link between Network Control and the Local Ops Team.
  • Champion Network Control in the local areas by hosting workshops and focus groups with internal and external Stakeholders and being the focal point for County knowledge
  • Provide knowledge to help guide and assist with the preparation, planning and programme management of major schemes. Reducing risk and highlighting collaborative cost saving measures.
  • Using your initiative to look for new opportunities to improve the performance within your area, constantly coming up with faster, better, more efficient ways of delivering a service to the customer.
  • Ensure internal and external stakeholders, including Strategic Leads are fully aware of planned network interventions so they're undertaken at the optimum time for the network and our customers.
  • Support and engage in Network Control Team Objectives, Team meetings, Standowns, and Development Days.
  • Flexible shift patterns between the hours of 7am 5pm

Aside to being a great fit for our team, you'll ideally be a qualified in Engineering, experienced in using various technology, and hold a full UK driving licence.
