Reed Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working with a forward-thinking research centre in the Norwich area seeking a
Business Analystto join their finance department

The Finance Team is responsible for dealing with all Finance matters for the main organisations on site and other subsidiary companies.

Financial services provided include Management Accounts, Petty Cash, Expense Claims, Budgets and Grant Accounting. Theyalso deal with all Statutory Accounting, VAT and Taxation issues.

The
Business Analyst is a multifaceted role.

The main areas of responsibility are:

The management of finances including production of management accounts,
Supporting group leaders in managing their finances and ensuring their budgets are properly managed and maximised.

There are over 95 income-generating group leaders across the organisation which are supported within the
Business Analyst team.

It is the job of the
Business Analyst to provide support to the scientists taking as much as possible of the burden of financial management off their shoulders and managing it for them on their behalf.

The role will involve regular face-to-face meetings to discuss financial projections, budget adjustments and opportunities for the best utilisation of individual scientist's portfolio of budgets.
