    Description
    Weresupporting a fantastic independent chartered accountancy practicein Eastbourne in their search for an Accounts Senior. The client weare working with prides itself in its culture and positive teamenvironment.Ourclient is looking for a candidate that is ACCA or ACAqualified

    Responsibilities

    • Therole will involve all areas of practice work for a range ofpersonal tax and businessclients.
    • Assistingin the management of a portfolio of clients to deliver ahighqualityservice
    • Preparingand reviewing sole trader accounts personal tax returns companyaccounts and corporation taxreturns
    • VATadvice and complianceservices
    • Maintaininga high technical and professional standard. This would befacilitated through ongoing training and access to CPD programswithin thefirm.
    • Coachtrain and develop junior staff to improve and further theirknowledge.
    • Opportunityto develop skills in key areas such as Xero and other Cloudbasedsystems
    • Undertakewider practice activities asrequired
    • Communicatewith the team on any issues orfindings
    • Maintaina professional working relationship with both clients andcolleagues


    Requirements

    Skillsrequired

    • 23years postAAT qualified or ACA/ACCAqualified
    • Experiencein accounts preparation in an accountancy practice
    • Excellentattention todetail
    • Theability to manage own workload and prioritize to meetdeadlines
    • Problemsolver with investigativenature
    • ITLiterate and able to use MS Excel andWord
