Education Psychology Graduate | SEN Support | Manchester


Are you an aspiring Psychology graduate who wants to gain practical experience in schools and do you have a genuine interest in working with children with Special Educational Needs? This is the perfect opportunity for a dedicated psychology graduate aimingfor a successful career in education or Psychology.

This SEN support role is to start in January 2023 and is a temporary contract for the rest of the academic year within a mainstream secondary school.


You will be required to work with small groups of students and on a one to one basis across a variety of ages, abilities and needs.

The role includes assisting the class teacher and supporting pupils with different activities and lessons with a focus onimproving attainment and behaviour.

You will be expected to monitor children's progression referring to Individual Education and Behaviour Plans and work closely with the SEN Co-ordinator.

The pupils you will support have a range of Special Educational Needs,including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Speech, Language, Communication Needs and Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.

Their main aim is to encourage all young people to engage in education and fulfil their maximum potential alongside asupportive staff team in a safe and nurturing environment.

To join the Milk team and be successful in this SEN Support role you will need to have:

- a minimum of a 2:1 in a Psychology based degree
- an interest in education and SEN
- excellent communication skills
