Description
Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a multi-national manufacturer of valves & fluid control equipment based in the Kingswinford area.


Mechanical Design EngineerPosition Overview

  • Product development from concept to finished product stages with the use of Autodesk Inventor
  • Liaising with manufacturing teams to ensure suitability of product designs
  • Providing technical support to the sales and marketing teams on new products
  • Attending project and design meetings
  • Liaising with external suppliers on design related matters

Mechanical Design EngineerPosition Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience within Mechanical design / Product Development
  • Experience with fluid control products is advantageous
  • Proficient with 3D modelling software, ideally Inventor but other software experience will be considered.
  • Based in a commutable distance of Kingswinford
  • Experienced within full product life cycle design
  • HNC or above in a Mechanical or Design related field

Mechanical Design EngineerPosition Remuneration

  • Salary £30,000 £40,000 depending on experience
  • Full time 37 hour week permanent position. (Currently operating hybrid to be reviewed)
  • Monday to Thursday 08:00 16:00. Friday 08:00 15:00
  • Company pension (5% contribution)
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
