Business Development Consultant - Fintech
My client is a leading player in the embedded finance market.

They have been established since 2021 winning majority of the market share in UK market and have more recently expanded out Internationally, mainly focusing on the European Markets.


Their unique proposition allows cash flow forecasting, outsourced back-office function along with flexible invoice finance through one easy to use platform Perfect for SME businesses who lack resource or Enterprise clients who are focusing on Automationand Efficiency.

Alongside the Head of Sales you will be focused on building out presence in European Market, Over last year they have branched out into the Netherlands region and are working with a few large brands over there already.


Responsibilities for the Business Development Consultant, Fintech

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with partners and enterprise customers. Influence longterm strategic direction and serve as a business partner.
  • Negotiate and manage entire salescycles, often presenting to executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Lead business development strategy in the EMEA region
  • Actively understand each customer's finical products, technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.

Requirements for the Business Development Consultant,Fintech

  • Degree educated
  • BDM experience within the Invoice Finance Market if traditional or fintech focused.
  • Proven success in building out and closing relationships with SME and Enterprise businesses.
  • Experience working internationally on funding transactions
  • Experience selling large finical deals or enterprise solutions.
  • Keen to work in fast paced environment
  • Enjoys building from ground up e.g. policy creation etc as it's a new remit you will join
  • Excellent personal skills are key for building relationships
  • Confident in pitching to C
  • Suite internally and Externally
