    Description

    LONDONFX Options TraderUp to £85k + Bonus + BenefitsYou will be working for an Award-Winning broker who are looking for experienced sales traders to join a high-growth business that provides energy hedging solutions to UK corporates. Candidates will be required to build and manage a portfolio of Mid Cap and Large Cap companies, many of which entering financial hedges for the first time.

    Strong technical abilities in terms of:

    • Managing the execution process
    • Option pricing principles
    • An understanding of corporate risk management and treasury policies, ideally for Mid Cap UK clients
    • Familiarity with suitability and appropriateness considerations
    • Working knowledge of the relevant regulatory regime

    Role

    • The role requires conversion of established prospects, secured from the firm's sales & marketing channels.
    • Day-to-day role involves oversight of customer engagement and execution for energy hedging products - customer education is a big theme.
    • Daily liaison with sales, marketing, operations (onboarding and credit) and management will also form a large part of this role.

    Essential

    • CF30 certificate or equivalent
    • FX options / FX experience ideally OR Commodities experience
    • Knowledge of option-based hedging solutions
    • Derivative execution experience
    • Experience of credit/margin handling
    • Financial markets sales/trading experience

    • Transparency, attention to detail and technical ability are essential while always applying a commercial approach to client management.

    They would consider applicants that have sold FX options in this space as well as those that have operated within banking and sold to larger corporate clients. We would expect familiarity with the commodities energy.
