    Optimise by Recruitment are thrilled to be partnered with a leading provider of credit insurance services, delivering exceptional financial solutions to their clients and ensuring their businesses thrive in today's competitive market.

    We are currently seeking a skilled Account Handler with experience in credit insurance and/or credit control with a an interest to grow their experience in Credit Insurance, to join their dynamic team in Leeds.


    Your role will involve working closely with directors and teams to provide a credit insurance service to existing clients, ensuring their credit insurance policies, credit limits, overdues, and claims, are managed effectively.

    Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers, supporting the new business function and contributing to client retention and satisfaction.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing value-added services to ensure high levels of client retention and satisfaction.
    Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure their credit insurance requirements are met and provide proactive service.
    Handle all aspects of credit insurance policies, including credit limits, overdues, and claims.
    Assist in the new business process by assessing risks and placing them with insurers, producing comprehensive reports.
    Work closely with the claims manager on complicated or large claims from clients.
    Maintain client filing systems in line with company procedures.
    Support Account Managers and Directors in meetings with clients.
    Contribute to the companys profile with insurers and clients through professional conduct and relationship-building.
    Control your own diary to follow up on documentation from clients and insurers.
    React quickly to client and prospect needs, producing timely communications and presentations.


    Requirements:
    Proven experience or knowledge in credit insurance (desirable) and/or credit control, with a focus on client relationship management.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    Strong oral and written communication skills,
    The ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
    Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
    Ability to work independently, using initiative to solve problems and meet deadlines.


    Benefits:
