This role will be based in our
Wimslow office however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week.

You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.


What would your day look like?

  • Support the education of brokers in best practice in case submission, use of the portal and system and understanding our proposition and packaging requirements
  • Both technical system knowledge of the originations system and the wider supporting systems (quest, lender hub, kama etc.)
  • Understanding of system rules and affordability calculators to ensure adherence to policy and bank risk appetite.
  • A good understanding of both Residential and Commercial lending, including an understanding of complex company structures/portfolio types/asset classifications
  • Identification of potential external fraud, and scheme misuse to protect the bank against possible bad debts and ensure the customer is fully aware of their responsibilities under their mortgage Terms & Conditions
  • Identify and review changes to Standard Operating Procedures and support the implementation of improvement ideas to improve the customer experience and realise cost benefits

What do we expect of you?

  • Support a culture of continuous improvement working to suggest and develop ideas to improve the customer journey, inclusive of necessary controls including a review of Standard Operating Procedures to maintain their accuracy and they are fit for purpose
  • Have a proactive and professional approach to drive a right firsttime outcome for the customer
  • Ability to support, coach and develop team colleagues by training individually and across the team so that competency is attained
  • Undertake team monthly quality check audit and provide feedback and support with development plans when required
  • Continuously demonstrate a collaborative approach to meet service level agreements managing key stakeholders and inter team dependencies
  • Experience working in a fast paced and change driven environment, owning and driving improvements
  • Deliver an excellent quality of service, meeting agreed service levels and achieving individual KPIs and supporting the team KPIs
  • Demonstrating a consistency of delivery with strong attention to detail.
