We are currently recruiting for an Amenities Charge Hand to join our busy hygiene team to oversee the function and ensure that the areas are kept clean and tidy to a high standard at all times.

MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7am - 3.30pm. Average 40 hours per week.

  • To oversee and ensure all amenity areas on site are always kept clean and tidy, to a high standard.
  • To oversee and ensure all amenity areas are kept clean and tidy as per the site daily cleaning schedules.
  • To ensure cleaning tasks are carried out using the appropriate number of resources to minimise wastage
  • To ensure all PPE and equipment is washed, sanitised and ready for staff use at the required times during the day.
  • To ensure any waste is removed from the amenities areas and disposed of in the correct waste stream.
  • To ensure that the chemicals are used safely and correctly according to manufacturer's instructions and recommendations.
  • To ensure all equipment is used and stored correctly by all dayshift & backshift cleaners.
  • To ensure any cleaning is undertaken safely, with regards to chemicals, protective clothing and safe working procedures
  • To comply with Supervisor/Manager's instructions in a timely manner.
  • To report any problems regarding equipment/machinery to the relevant Manager.
  • To ensure yourself and all the team always comply with company rules and statutory regulations.
  • To ensure that yourself and all the team always comply with departmental procedures in a correct and safe manner.
  • To ensure that yourself and all the team all the team always comply with company policy on all matters concerning health & safety, PPE and hygiene.
  • To identify training needs and opportunities and bring them to the attention of the Technical Manager.


  • Hygiene

  • To ensure best practice is always adopted in your department for control of staff, facilities and environmental hygiene.
  • To ensure that yourself and all the team always carry out all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly regarding Health and Safety Hygiene and Food Safety.
  • To ensure that all day cleaners comply with the Company Health and Safety policy at all times.
  • Any other duties as required.
