    Be a guiding force in the educational journey of learners with special needs - explore the fulfilling role of a 1:1 Learning Support Worker

    This Ofsted Outstanding adult education centre has an opportunity to join their team Located in the community of Cranleigh, near Billingshurst, the centre supports around 40 learners with Autism and associated conditions.

    Learners receive specialist day services, with individualised learning support tailored to their unique needs and desires. Through their efforts, the team empowers community members to embrace independence, foster social inclusion, and make positive life choices.

    As a vital team member, work closely with dedicated staff to shape the futures of adults with ASD and other disabilities.

    Your role encompasses designing and implementing tailored learning programs, offering unwavering support, and nurturing a sense of independence and inclusion.

    Fully supported training and CPD programme (including Crisis Intervention, Epilepsy, Administering Medication, Safeguarding & First Aid)
    ~ Established career development programme
    ~ Opportunity to work with the occupational and speech and language therapy teams
    ~ Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm (part-time would be considered)
    ~23 days paid holiday plus bank holidays
    ~ No evening, weekend, or shift requirements
    ~ Free on-site parking or subsidised transport from Guildford if required

    ~ Your Qualities:

    Your expertise in the SEN/Care field will complement your empathy and understanding of the challenges our community faces.
    Join a team in transforming lives, promoting inclusion, and fostering independence. Experience of working in community based services or with young adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

    • Minimum Grade C or equivalent, in English Language & Maths
    • Dedicated consultants 24/7 (we are on call) with experience working in the education sector
    • Continuous support and guidance throughout your whole journey to help you reach your goal
    • Advice and feedback on your current CV from education professionals
