Description
To provide a general clerical support for the SACCT secretaries and consultants.

To facilitate audio-transcription of clinic letters, results and discharge letters, and to provide a general clerical service and support throughout the department.


The post holder will be required to work as part of a team providing cross cover during periods of staff absence.


As a Trust, we recommend that individuals employed in patient facing roles, or those located on a ward or department where patients receive a service are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the SACCT Division for a Medical Support Secretary to provide administrative support to a team of medical secretaries and their respective consultant and clinical teams.

Previous experience of working within an administrative setting along with experience of audio typing is essential.


We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic individual who is able to follow instruction, work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

The maintenance of patient confidentiality and excellent customer care skills are essential to this post.
