- Manage all aspects of the company's financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity, optimizing financial resources for project needs.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost tracking and billing.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
