This HLTA position has just become available for the right individual that is dedicated and keen to become a part of a Secondary School in Greenwich.

Person Specification for Higher Level Teaching Assistant

To be successful, you will be inspiring graduate who has a second class degree at the very least and already held a school-based position.

We want to see graduates with the drive to show an enthusiasm for the role by taking on additional responsibility.

Youmust have the skills to deal with unfamiliar and challenging situations in a rational and collected manner.

About the Role for Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The teacher is keen for you to lead a whole class of your own, and you will do this once you feel you have the necessary skills and confidence.

Your talents will be utilised on a school-wide basis, and you will find yourself working with the various year groupsthroughout the secondary school.

You will be given the responsibility to effectively lead small intervention sessions for pupils who struggle with certain elements of the curriculum.

In general, you will be utilising the fantastic department resources whichinclude indoor / outdoor flow and the faculty plan to expand this range.
