- Provide specialist public health advice to the Board and staff
- Lead on local health needs assessment and ensure effective contribution to wellbeing plans and Integrated Medium Term plans
- Develop and lead a strong team which will provide integrated and effective public health services to the Betsi Cadwaladr community
- Identify the appropriate public health support required locally and prioritise actions accordingly
- Act as the public health executive lead for local authorities within Betsi Cadwaladr area

- Educated to Higher degree level in a subject relevant to the post Masters degree in Public Health

Are you a dedicated public health professional ready to lead strategic initiatives that promote community well-being? Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a compassionate and visionary leader to join us as the Executive Director of Public Health.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead the development and implementation of public health strategies, driving initiatives that address key health determinants and reduce Health inequalities.
With responsibility for Health Protection and Health Improvement including immunisations and vaccinations you will work closely with Public Health Wales and to improve health and wellbeing, protect the public's health, and decrease health inequalities across the North Wales health community.

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is the largest health organisation in Wales, with a budget of £ billion and a workforce of over 19,000 staff. The Health Board providesprimary, community, mental health and acute hospital services for the population of North Wales.
BCUHB provides a full range of primary, community, mental health, acute and specialist hospital services across 3 acute hospitals, 22 communityhospitals and a network of over 90 healthcentres, clinics, community health team bases and mental health units. BCUHB alsocoordinates or provides the work of 96 GP practices andthe NHS services provided by 78 dental and orthodontic practices, 70 optometry practices and opticians and 145 pharmacies in North Wales.
