Position Overview:


As a Senior Administrator in Fund Administration, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of investment funds and their operations.

This role involves working closely with fund managers, investors, custodians, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of investment funds and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

The Senior Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating fund-related activities, and providing exceptional client service.


Key Responsibilities:


Fund Operations Management:


  • Oversee and coordinate daytoday fund operations, including fund accounting, trade settlement, cash management, and reconciliation processes.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of fund data and transactions to ensure compliance with investment policies and regulatory requirements.

Investor Relations and Client Servicing:


  • Act as a key point of contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing timely updates, and handling client communications professionally.
  • Collaborate with the investor relations team to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Fund Reporting and Compliance:


  • Prepare and review periodic fund reports, including financial statements, performance reports, and regulatory filings.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting deadlines, liaising with compliance officers as needed.

NAV Calculation and Valuation:


  • Oversee the Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with thirdparty service providers, such as custodians and valuation agents, to obtain accurate fund valuations.

Fund Transfers and Redemptions:


  • Facilitate the process of fund subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers for investors, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with fund policies.

Fund Audits and Due Diligence:


  • Coordinate and assist in fund audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
  • Participate in due diligence exercises, responding to investor inquiries related to fund operations.

Fund Expense Management:


  • Monitor and control fund expenses, including fees paid to service providers, ensuring costeffectiveness and transparency.

Process Improvements and Automation:


  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement system enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fund administration or related roles within the financial services industry.
  • Indepth knowledge of fund accounting, valuation methods, and investment fund operations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for investment funds.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in fund management software and accounting platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or ACCA may be advantageous.

Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
