    Job Summary

    Exciting opportunity for a qualified physiotherapist to join our Specialist Rehabilitation Team, where you'll enhance your skills in a community setting. We are an established team based at Gorton Hub, focusing on hospital discharge support and community rehabilitation in central Manchester.

    Main Duties of the Job

    • Assessment, treatment, and management of adult patients with various conditions
    • Working in different settings such as patients' homes and care facilities
    • Managing your clinical caseload and setting appropriate goals
    • Participating in Community Rehabilitation Services and keeping up with research
    • Supervising a Band 5 physiotherapist
    • Utilizing good IT and communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
    • Flexible work approach and ability to work independently and in a team
    • Responsibility for student education

    Person Specification

    Essential

    • Honours degree in physiotherapy
    • Registered with Health Professional Council
    • Evidence of current CPD and clinical supervisory skills
    • Experience in various clinical areas and ability to work autonomously
    • Strong team player with good communication and time management skills
    • Driver with access to a vehicle

    • Member of special interest group
    • Knowledge of clinical supervision and educator training
