2fawcett are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Stock Controller to join our client based in Doncaster.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory levels are properly managed.
- Conduct regular PI stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movements, including receiving, issuing, and transferring goods.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate stock replenishment and ensure optimal levels are maintained.
- Maintain picking shelves and ensure a clean, tidy and organised state
- Optimise warehouse space by relocating stock to improve efficiency of pick
- Investigate and resolve any stock queries relating to order fulfilment
- Implement and maintain efficient stock control systems and processes
- Identify and report any stock variances, damages, or quality issues
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move stock around the warehouse
- Conduct analysis to identify potential risks and suggest appropriate solutions
- Assist in the development and implementation of stock control policies and procedures.
Requirements of the Stock controller:
- Previous experience as a Stock Controller or similar role is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Manual handling
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Oracle Netsuite or similar)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Knowledge of stock control best practices and inventory management principles.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
