2fawcett are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Stock Controller to join our client based in Doncaster.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:


  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory levels are properly managed.
  • Conduct regular PI stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock movements, including receiving, issuing, and transferring goods.
  • Collaborate with various departments to coordinate stock replenishment and ensure optimal levels are maintained.
  • Maintain picking shelves and ensure a clean, tidy and organised state
  • Optimise warehouse space by relocating stock to improve efficiency of pick
  • Investigate and resolve any stock queries relating to order fulfilment
  • Implement and maintain efficient stock control systems and processes
  • Identify and report any stock variances, damages, or quality issues
  • Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move stock around the warehouse
  • Conduct analysis to identify potential risks and suggest appropriate solutions
  • Assist in the development and implementation of stock control policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Stock controller:


  • Previous experience as a Stock Controller or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Manual handling
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Oracle Netsuite or similar)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
  • Knowledge of stock control best practices and inventory management principles.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
