2fawcett are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Stock Controller to join our client based in Doncaster.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:

Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory levels are properly managed.
Conduct regular PI stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
Monitor stock movements, including receiving, issuing, and transferring goods.
Collaborate with various departments to coordinate stock replenishment and ensure optimal levels are maintained.
Maintain picking shelves and ensure a clean, tidy and organised state
Optimise warehouse space by relocating stock to improve efficiency of pick
Investigate and resolve any stock queries relating to order fulfilment
Implement and maintain efficient stock control systems and processes
Identify and report any stock variances, damages, or quality issues
Operating a Counterbalance FLT to move stock around the warehouse
Conduct analysis to identify potential risks and suggest appropriate solutions
Assist in the development and implementation of stock control policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Stock controller:

Previous experience as a Stock Controller or similar role is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Manual handling
Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite (Oracle Netsuite or similar)
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
Knowledge of stock control best practices and inventory management principles.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
