    We are a happy, friendly, caring, nurturing and busy school where we seek to go 'Beyond Expectations' in all we do. We are part of the Aspire Multi-Academy Trust – a group of 8 schools who share the same 'Take Care' ethos and vision. Our core purpose is the Profound Personal Development of our children. We have a clear 'Values Based' approach to learning and through our exciting and creative curriculum, both in and out of the classroom, we can truly say, 'It's Never Boring Here'. There is always plenty going on in our school. We are a large primary school, with approximately 430 children on roll.

    We are looking for a class teacher to join our Kirkby Woodhouse family who can bring the following:


    • Hard-working, dedicated, strives to be the best they can be and has high expectations of themselves and their work.

    • Aspirational, motivated and has a drive and passion for teaching and inspiring children.

    • Enthusiastic and has a positive work ethic.

    • Excellent communicators, respects others and has the ability to work as part of a team.

    • Outstanding classroom teacher, with a sound subject knowledge of the primary curriculum.

    • Has experience of and an understanding of teaching phonics.

    • Committed to fostering a love of learning, intrigue, excitement and a 'can do' attitude within our children.

    • Welcoming the opportunity to develop and improve their own practice and access relevant continued professional development.

    • Willing to embrace the 'bigger picture' of our school and become involved with extra-curricular opportunities and school events.

    The role would suit an ECT or experienced main scale teacher.
