Nigel Wright are delighted to be working exclusively with an excellent manufacturing business based in Washington They have seen massive growth over the past couple of years and are growing their finance team to match.
You will report directly into the Finance Manager and be able to interact with other departments around the business. There is lots of scope to grow, develop and progress your career.Duties & Responsibilities
As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for;
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for both internal and external reporting purposes
- Group reporting (GPS reporting and consolidation system)
- Finance, accounting and reporting support for other entities
- Production of KPIs
- Analysis and review of accounts with qualitative commentary
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Maintain up to date and accurate fixed asset register
- Posting of journals including prepayments and accruals
- Daily cash book maintenance andbank reconciliations
- Monthly payroll processing
- AP/AR support as required
- Monthly VAT returns and government submissions
- Preparation of annual statutory accounts
- Support the year end audit process including liaising with auditors
- Sustainability reporting
- Project support
- Continuous advancement of finance processes
- Provide ad hoc support and reporting to the finance team as required.
You Will Be/Have
As the Management Accountant, you will be/have:
- Part
- Qualified/Qualified ACCA/CIMA or Qualified by Experience
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
- Experience of working within large organisations
- Good knowledge of ERP systems
- Respect for confidential information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good problemsolving and analytical skills
- Selfmotivated
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Strong team player
- Used to working in a fast paced organisation
