EngineeringSalary: £29,396 - £34,902Area: Leeds
Position Overview:
We are currently recruiting a Production Fitter on behalf of our client in the Leeds area.
As a Production Fitter you will be responsible for all aspects of gearbox & power transmission overhaul, including but not limited to; stripping, cleaning, inspecting, reporting, assembling, testing and final assembly.
Workshop tooling and equipment maintenance.Requirements:
Apprentice trained mechanical engineers - experience working on power transmission products and rotating equipment is essential (gear boxes, pumps and turbines)Understanding technical drawingsRecognised trade qualification (ONC / HNC in Mechanical Engineering) OR GWO certification for Wind Turbine.
FLT counterbalance licence preferableOverhead crane licence or experience preferableAbility to use general workshop measuring equipmentStrong attention to detailExcellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues across various disciplines.
Benefits:
