Production Fitter Industry:
Engineering
We are currently recruiting a Production Fitter on behalf of our client in the Leeds area.
As a Production Fitter you will be responsible for all aspects of gearbox & power transmission overhaul, including but not limited to; stripping, cleaning, inspecting, reporting, assembling, testing and final assembly.
Workshop tooling and equipment maintenance.Operating a overhead crane
FLT Counterbalance driving where required
Apprentice trained mechanical engineers – experience working on power transmission products and rotating equipment is essential (gear boxes, pumps and turbines)
Recognised trade qualification (ONC / HNC in Mechanical Engineering) OR GWO certification for Wind Turbine.
FLT counterbalance licence preferable
Overhead crane licence or experience preferable
Ability to use general workshop measuring equipment
07:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday – overtime available
~£29,396 - £34,902 depending on experience
~26 days annual leave + bank holiday
~ Company pension matched up to 7%
