Document ControllerWe're looking for a person to join our joint venture team, KierBam based at Hinkley Point C.
Location:
Somerset, Bridgwater
Contract:
Permanent, Full Time - we can offer some working from home or flexible start/end working times, if desired, just let us know.
What will you be responsible for?**In this role, you'll be working with the Hinkley Point C team. You will be involved in maintaining an upstream and downstream flow of documents in a timely manner.
Your day to day will include:
- To process the Project's documents via Common Data Environments (CDE) e.g. SharePoint / Microsoft Teams, Client (TeamCenter), Kier (ProjectWise) portals, CEMAR and Switch.
- You will need to help those on site to have access to the documents and record in a timely manner.
- You'll manage the document structures within the common data environment in accordance with the projects needs.
- You'll be issuing updates / registers to the team and compiling TQ registers.
What are we looking for?
This role is great for you if:
- You have experience in a similar role on construction projects or in Pre-construction Teams where you are used to dealing with the distribution of documents, drawings, comments and RFI's.
- Be able to spot hidden problems utilising analysis and probing techniques.
- Problem solving uses methods to solve problems with effective solutions, probes for relevant answers.
- Good internal stakeholder management skills.
