What you'll be doing
As a/an Leading Cable Hand you will have the following accountabilities:

Setting to work responsibility, briefing the team prior to the work commencing.
Ensure whatever task being instructed; you have a clear understanding of your role leading the team to execute a safe and timely install.
Always ensure you fully understand any associated risks, controls and rules.
Report all unsafe events and conditions taking care of yourselves and others at all times
Intervene positively if you see something deemed unsafe.
Stop work if anything changes, and inform your supervisor to enable any controlled change of instructions.
Listen and learn from any toolbox talks conducted by either your line supervisor or from the leadership team.
Actively embrace the behavioural safety programme across the site by displaying the safe choices in all our daily actions.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following:

NVQ Level 3 Cable Installation
SSSTS
Client/Contractor National Safety Group Safety Passport [CCNSG]
Current in

- date CSCS card

Good Knowledge of all Cabling Aids.
Good Knowledge of Mechanical Winching
Be familiar with the IET Regulations regarding bending radii for various types and sizes of cables
