QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY TEAM MEMBER

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct tests for; T Pull, Solids, Hardness, Cross break, Mix, Compression, PGC, PH, Plate Line, Salt Spray, Brake Fluid, Krauss and any other tests specified in control plans.
  • Ensure all test data is entered accurately & promptly into the recording systems.
  • Highlight to production out of control situations and advise corrective actions prior to manufacturing parts out of specification.
  • Ensure no processes are ran out of specification and ensure that tests are revalidated before restart.

Your skills & expertise

  • Science related background (preferably chemistry)
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures
  • Understanding of friction material manufacture
  • Knowledge of data entry and handling.
  • Understanding of Quality systems and procedures
  • Good IT skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Strong professional and ethical standards
  • Proactive, cando attitude
  • Ability to work a 3shift pattern including nights on a regular basis
