    Description

    We are a young British couplewith a 2yearold son and are expecting a daughter in late June/earlyJuly.

    Wecurrently live in New York but will be relocating to London overthe summer to be closer to family andfriends.

    Bothof us work in demanding roles that require very full time hours ofwork and occasional overnighttravel.

    Wehave bought a home in the Bedford Park are of Chiswick WestLondon.

    Wehave family homes in Scotland France and the US (East Coast) wherewe spend significant amounts oftime.

    We havea small welltrained dog and enjoy countryside activities at ourfarm in Scotland.

    Ours son sleepssoundly from 7pm to 7am and has a 1to2hour nap afterlunch.

    He isa little shy but plays nicely with children and adults onceproperlyintroduced.

    Weexpect him to attend some form of daily nursery or kindergartenuntil September 2026 when he will start school. Our baby daughterwill be at home for at least a couple of years before going tonursery.

    TheRole:

    We are looking for a dynamicenergetic and caring nanny to join our family and have sole chargeof ourchildren.

    Thenanny will live with us and will be provided with ensuiteaccommodation. (live out is possible if you live very close to thefamily. It is also possible to live in during the week and live outat weekends aside from the few times when you might be needed toproxy parent over theweekend)

    Regulartravel including occasional multiweek periods will beexpected.

    The ideal candidate will seenannying as their vocation and passion.

    Crafting activities (indoor andoutdoor) to support the childrens growth and development isimportant.

    Atypical day for our 2yearold would involve morning routinesafterschool activities and eveningroutines.

    Otherresponsibilities include preparing nutritious meals doing thechildrens laundry and helping them keep their rooms and play areastidy.

    Lighthousehold tasks may be required during periods when the childrenare not being activelysupervised.

    Theexpected working hours are approximately 55 hours per weekincluding 2 nights of "babysitting" post 7pmbedtime.

    Occasionallyboth parents may be traveling on week nights orweekends.

    Fluencyin French is a "nice to have" but not arequirement fluent English isimportant.

    Requirements:

    Prior experience as a solecharge nanny with excellentreferences.

    Experience withnewborns.

    Licensed driver (own car notrequired).

    All necessary first aid/CPRand background checks including an enhanced DBS certificate and DBSupdateservice.

    Nanny mustbe Fluent in English, French would also great. 3+ years experiencecaring for babies of a very young age Experience looking after ababy and toddler (although mum will be around to help for the firstcouple of months) Excellent checkable references for your previousnanny work. Clean up to date enhanced DBS UK passport or validrelevant work Visa (already have right to work in UK) Goodeducation, training or qualifications. Please note: This is a nonsmoking position
