Are you an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated paediatric nurse who is passionate about delivering high quality care to the children of Preston and surrounding area? The Paediatric Assessment unit has an opening for a fixed term of 12 months to cover a secondment.

Working with others we have close links with the inpatient ward, children's outpatients department and paediatric community service. Our ward based team is multi-disciplinary including physios, pharmacist, play specialists, patient experience coordinator and CAMHS team.
You will be responsible for the day to day coordination of the unit and will work closely with the ward manager.
The role is both a clinical role and a leadership role and as such you will be responsible for staff appraisals, the completion of the off duty in line with Trust policy, liaising with the clinical educator regards training, managing sickness and absence and performance management.

To liaise with multidisciplinary team regarding care of patients
